About
the Managing Director
King Costa is the founder and MD of King Costa &
Associates (KC&A). With a network of more than 10 high quality professionals
specialized in different business disciplines ranging from medicine, actuarial,
finance, legal, education etc, the CASE concept was birthed with a clear purpose
of bringing tailor packaged solutions to our targeted clients.
King Costa
has worked in a number of organizations from FMCG and manufacturing sector to
financial services sector where he gained a lot of experience in agriculture,
insurance, healthcare and business management. With a diploma in financial management,
he is currently studying towards an MBA.
King Costa is an accredited member
of the Life Underwriters' Association (LUASA) and an Associate of the Institute
of Business Management. His organisation, is registered with the Services Seta
and affiliates with the Service Quality Institute of the USA.
He was co-founder
and executive chairperson of Prosmed Medical Fund from 1994 to 1998. He has worked
as a claims manager for Prosperity Insurance Company from 1994 to 1998, having
joined the company in 1990 in Umtata, Eastern Cape. He worked for The Rand Mutual
Assurance, a healthcare/stated benefits company as an assistant claims manager
in 1998 to 2000. From the year 2000 to 2001 he has worked as a consultant to NBC
Consultants and Actuaries and NMG Consultants and Actuaries and has provided training
and communication on healthcare matters to a number of retirement funds and companies
including the Transvaal Suiker Board, Tiger Brands Provident Fund, Samancor, Rennies
Provident Fund, Randcoal Provident Fund, NSB Provident Fund and Pick n' Pay.
