HRD South Africa training diagnostic tools & LMS features

In support of our substantial online training resources HRD South Africa we offer all the following optional LMS features:

FOR COURSE, QUALIFICATIONS AND BASIC PORTAL SALES:

1. Skills Library - For users requiring more than one course the skills library allows us to allocate pre-set Learning Portfolio(s) and then let the user access what they want, when they want it - however should the client require to exercise control then an option exists to have a 'course register' function.

2. Goal Setting & Action Planning - is a time based facility to establish a PDP or even manage a project - it can support appraisals and also be created during the appraisal process. It can also be created on behalf of the user.

3. CPD and detailed reports - accessed by both the user and any authorized person who needs access to employee records to monitor and report on system utilization, learning activity, progress, knowledge test results, CPD hours accrued etc. See momentum.

4. Skills Card - is a detailed record of CPD hours automatically awarded or manually added for offline learning activity, plus Certificates awarded and Regulatory/Compliance programmes completed.

The user can invite 3rd parties to view their Skill Card.

5. Certification - we have a range of certificated courses - students are awarded a certificate of completion (not applicable for ILM qualifications) - click here to see an example.

FOR EXTENDED PORTAL SALES

Our extended portal clients have all the above features plus:

6. Surveys - a portfolio of 8 generic surveys covering all key facets of an organisation - alternatively we can create customised surveys linked to your specific requirements. Surveys provide useful TNA diagnostics & helps to determine the organisations state of readiness for change and development. For more information click here.

7. Knowledge Tests - a portfolio of 12 Knowledge Tests cover the generic 360 competencies. But we have a Knowledge Question bank of circa 1000 questions that could be used to customize Tests - equally we can create specialized tests to meet client requirements. For more information click here.

8. 360 Assessment - provides self-appraisal, with optional peer feedback and optional 3rd party input linked to goal setting and action planning. Selective assessment of 80 generic specialist or customised competencies provides identification of online training needs. For more information click here.

9. Performance Manager - provides a performance appraisal scheduler, reminders, scoring, objective setting and reporting

10. Course registration - provides an alternative to users having access to their Skills Library. It is a controller facility to register users on whatever ebriefings &/or programmes the user needs to be compliant with their PDP whenever they need it.

11. Customisable - everything is customisable - e.g site banners, editorials, ebriefings, eprogrammes, knowledge test question banks, roles/competencies, surveys - see customisation section

All for an additional payment of R200 per person, per annum
(but only for the first 200 users)

FOR ADVANCED PORTAL SALES

Our advanced portal clients have features 1-11 plus:

12. Authoring - covers ebriefings being short training multi-bite courses with optional exercises and www links. Ebriefings are released into Library faculties where they can be made available to users and to in-house designers of educational programmes and workshops along with generic ebriefings.

13. Workshop - are in-house based programmes that the client can create from the generic library &/or their authored ebriefings. These are then used as an online scheduling and booking system for managing face-to-face training.

All for R4000 per month

NB: All portal clients will have an "add user" facility so that their employees can be registered on the system whenever required.
